Sambal Belado


Sambal Belado

10 medium shallots
3 cloves garlic
200 g fresh red Chilli ( deseeded)
10 red and green chilli padi
2 cm tumeric
2 tbsp dried shrimp (optional)
(Pound, blend into coarsely paste)

Salt and sugar to taste
Juice of 3 limau kasturi
2 medium tomato (cut into cubes)

Heat 4 tbsp oil in a wok and saute blended or pounded paste, 3 pieces kaffir leaves, till oil separate.
Add in tomatoes cubes, salt and sugar, lime juice to taste. Stir continously in low medium heat till the tomatoes is disintegrated and sauce thicken.
Taste according and adjust to your preference.
