Ingredients
Apple Fillings
800 g apples (chopped finely)
80 g sugar
100 g butter
1 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)

Pastry
130 g icing sugar
170 g butter
1/2 egg
2 tsp custard powder
300 g plain flour

Diamond Baking Paper

Method
10 Boil chopped apples with sugar, butter and cinnamon powder. Stir till apple filling is soft and thickened.
2) Pastry: Beat icing sugar, butter, egg and custard powder together with a whisk till sugar has dissolved. Add plain flour and mix well to form dough. Set aside.
3) Divide dough into balls. Press 1 ball of dough into small muffin mould (I use muffin tray 6 cups) lined with Diamond baking paper. Pour in apple filling and cover with 1 flattened ball dough. Brush surface with beaten egg.
4) Bake in pre heated oven (180 C) for 25 minutes or till top turns golden brown.
