1/2 green papaya (for frying or soup)
Salt and sugar to taste
100 ml water
1 tbsp dried shrimps – soaked till soft and drained
3 red chilli
3 chilli padi
3 cloves garlics
1/2 inch toasted belacan
1) Washed and peeled papaya skin. Remove seeds and sliced thinly.
2) Heat oil in a wok and saute pounded ingredients till aromatic. Add papaya and stir to mix.for 1 minute. Add in water and simmer over low heat till papaya is half cooked. Season with salt and sugar. Continue to simmer till cooked through.
